NEON OVERDRIVE
Neon Overdrive is an F-Zero inspired Zero-Gravity Racer Game focused on simulating hovercraft physics and gravitation with an emphasis on smooth controls. The level is made to be easy to adapt to for beginners but offers a challenge for those hoping to minimize their time and complete the 3 lap race as fast as possible.
This project was enhanced and optimized by utilizing code structures such as finite state machines and accurate coordinate detection from road mesh triangles based off of their indices and barycentric coordinates using multiple raycasts and well defined colliders.
